Internacional Players & Coaches and the Royal Andalusian Football Federation, in collaboration with Real Betis, joined in the organization of the event in a unique edition due to its solidarity in benefit of UNICEF. The funds raised at this meeting will go to different projects for children in more than 150 developing countries and territories.
Aside from the solidarity end, the meeting presented a huge sporting appeal. Players like Melanie Behringer, finalist in the vote for the best player in the world of FIFA, and also the German nominee and international Sara Daebritz were part of the Bavarian team. Arsenal, meanwhile, had players of recognized prestige such as midfielder Fara Williams, the footballer with the most appearances for the English team; or the also international Alex Scott or the scorer Danielle Carter.
