1.3. Medical Supervision

MEDICAL SUPERVISION

What Is It?

💊It is the control that the medical team (staff) has over your general state (physical and mental).

💊That is why, you have to inform the doctor, physio and/or masseur who are present on game day how you feel during warm up, half time or any time during the match so they can help you prevent serious injuries.

How is it done?

💊Letting your medical staff know about any different sensations that you don’t normally get.

When is it done?

💊After the first half, on the way to the locker rooms, or even as soon as you get there.

Why is it done?

💊The medical staff has to know at all times how you are doing and prioritize your health above all else. They must be in inform of any concerns as soon as possible to prevent exposing you to risky situations, so your coaches can react as soon as possible and have enough time to find a tactical solution to your substitution.
